Spring migration! Join bird watchers May 8

The first two weeks in May and early in the morning are the best times to see beautiful birds in their mating plumage singing their impressive mating songs as they migrate through Quincy on their way north!

Join Tim O’Neil, Christine Whitebread, and Les Tyrala of the South Shore Bird Club, and Maggi Brown of the DCR as we look for and listen to this fantastic spectacle.

Bring binoculars if you have them.

Stay for all 3 hours if you are able; leave earlier if you need to get to work.

Where: Squantum Point Park, Quincy, DCR parking lot.
Meet at the pavilion / commuter shelter in the area of the parking lot facing Boston.

Directions:
The park is at the end of Victory Road in Marina Bay, to the left of the Ocean Club.
From Quincy Shore Drive, turn right on to East Squantum Street.
Turn left onto Victory Road in Marina Bay.
Proceed straight through the first rotary and take the next left on to the Haul Road to enter the park.
