Buy A Brick to support the Playground renovation

The children’s playground, located behind the Squantum School, is in need of critical renovations to insure the safety of the children running and playing in the park.

Help support the playground renovations and create a lasting memorial by buying a brick with your special message engraved! Your engraved brick will become a permanent part of the brick walkway at the playground.

This is a great way to celebrate friends and family, send a special message, or honor a loved one. Consider buying a brick to honor a loved one for their birthday, pay tribute to mom and dad on Mother’s Day or Father’s Day, or commemorate an anniversary.

How to Buy a Brick:
For a $100 donation, your message will be inscribed on a brick that will become a permanent part of the Squantum Playground walkway.

Payment options:

  1. Request an order form and pay by check, cash or credit card.
Contact Stacey LeMay to request an order form at sno224@yahoo.com or 617-460-5875.
  2. Pay using this PayPal form:
Please note: You can have up to 3 lines of text on your brick, with a maximum of 20 characters per line; spacing and punctuation count as a character.
Every line will be centered on the brick.
In the PayPal form below -
enter your text for line 1 in the “Line 1″ field, and
enter text for lines 2 and 3 in the “Line 2&3″ field. Please enter a “#” sign between lines 2 and 3 (sorry! PayPal only gave us 2 lines for this form!) We’ll email you to confirm your brick message.

  1. Can anyone update me on this. I gave my check almost a year ago and have never heard another thing about this. Thanks

    • Thanks for your note, Cheryl! Dave Blaton reports that the City of Quincy is evaluating bid proposals for the Playground work and that the bid has been posted in The Quincy Sun.

The team is hopeful that the bids will be accepted by mid-April 2014 and that work will begin by the first week of May. The target completion date for the playground is mid-June 2014.

Many thanks for your support of this project! To date, 125 bricks have been purchased and are being stored at the City of Quincy Public Works Department along with the new park benches until the renovation work begins.
