Pop into Quincy’s pop-up art gallery Friday nights in July

As Quincy continues the revitalization project downtown, Discover Quincy is taking advantage of some vacant retail space to spin up the area’s creativity with a pop-up art gallery that is the site of Friday night happenings.

Head over to the Center Friday nights in July to meet the artists while enjoying some live entertainment and beverages at the cash bar. The space previously home to Woolworth’s has been transformed into an art gallery and four pop-up shops. The gallery showcases more than 200 works of art by about 70 local artists.

The Gallery is free and open to the public at 64 Ross Way in Quincy Center, and features live entertainment, a cash bar, and local art for sale.

July 17 Pop Up Line Up
This week Honey Sauce Band headlines at The Gallery. A Quincy band with roots all over the world, Honey Sauce Band is adored for their funk and experimental disco experience.  Featuring Saucy Lady on vocals, Yuki “monolog” Kanesaka on keys, and Takafumi Nikaido on percussion.
