Appreciation cookout 12:30 p.m., Pageant Field
After you hit the Annual Plant Sale at the Kennedy Center…grab your gardening gloves and yard tools and head out for the Annual Cleaner Greener Quincy Day!
In Squantum clean ups will be happening at:
- The Squantum School and parks, 50 Huckins Ave
- Nickerson Post & beach, 20 Moon Island Road
- The Causeway, East Squantum Street
- Orchard Beach
- Squaw Rock: Meet at the Nickerson Post parking lot at the end of Dorchester Street in Squantum. Bags will be provided. Bring water and garden gloves if you have them. RSVP for Squaw Rock clean up to Sally Owen by May 5 at 617-472-0799.
Roll up your sleeves alongside city employees and spruce up the neighborhood parks, beaches, schools, marshes and open spaces. Let’s clean our way to a fresh spring and spruce the ‘hood up for summer!
Watch out for tiny Squantum tots and adults as you drive around!
Bring equipment if you can – including rakes, bags, gloves, and shovels.
